Hodota Camping, also known by its rustic name Ho Do Ta Resort, is an eco-tourism area with a part of the land belonging to Ham Tan district - Binh Thuan and a part of the land belonging to Suoi O beach area, Binh Chau district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau. This is a unique camping site for you to refer to and experience.

Suoi O Beach is very famous with tourists because it has both a freshwater stream and a smooth white sand beach with immense blue sea water. This is one of the rare beaches in Vietnam that has both fresh and salt water.

About 110km from Ho Chi Minh City and about 3km from Binh Chau hot spring, so it is very convenient for tourists to travel to Hodota from cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Phan Thiet...

From the moment you first set foot in Hodota, you will surely be overwhelmed by the many different spaces here, the scenery is also natural, fresh, wild, airy. There is also a long beach with fine white sand and rows of casuarinas, interspersed behind the sand dunes.

How to get to the campsite, you can refer to some of the following means!

1. Take the Beachbus to Hodota

Use the shuttle service from Ho Chi Minh City for 150,000 VND/person/way. Take the bus for about 3 hours to get to the tourist area.

Pick-up location: 88 Tran Binh Trong, Ward 1, Go Vap and Cameco gas station No. 3, Hang Xanh intersection.

2. Take the bus

Go to Mien Dong bus station, choose and buy a ticket to Binh Chau, the price is only 60,000 - 75,000 VND. When you arrive at Binh Chau market, take a motorbike taxi to Hodota, only 3km from Binh Chau market. On quiet days, Hodota Resort will help pick you up at Binh Chau market.

3. Go by car or motorbike

If you drive or ride a motorbike from Ho Chi Minh City, from Highway 51 (the road to Vung Tau), there are 3 ways to get to Hodota Resort:

– The shortest route is the newly opened road, the road is very beautiful, deserted, passing through Cuu Hill – Suoi Nghe, Chau Duc district – Ba Ria – Vung Tau (Many people take wedding photos here because the sheep are so cute.): National Highway 51 – My Xuan (Toc Tien) – Hac Dich (Toc Tien) – expanded road number 1 – then go straight to National Highway 55 to reach Hodota Resort. Distance is about 120km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City.

– The second road is to Ba Ria welcome gate, turn left into Ba Ria city, go through the city and keep going along Highway 55 to Hodota. About 130km.

– The third road is the extremely beautiful Coastal Road. This road is very clean, beautiful, has few vehicles and runs along the coast. You can walk while enjoying the scenery or taking quality photos. This road will pass by the 5-star Casino Resort The Grand Ho Tram Strip, and go about 10km more to reach the fork to Hodota Resort & Boating Center.

4. Car rental

If you are traveling with a large group, you should consider the 16-seat car rental service to Vung Tau. (If you go with a large group, renting a 16-seat tourist car will be more convenient, less tiring, and you can also freely party in the car.).
